Which savings account offers the highest interest rate?

high interest rate
Johnny asked:

I live in Japan and would really like to start putting away money for the future. I don’t want to invest in stocks or bonds but a long term savings account sounds ok.

Any advice on banks and the different types of savings accounts?
I’d really like to know about special accounts as well for large sums of money and long periods of time.

Thanks

RICHARD

high interest rate
Ms. Hollywood Diva asked:

Bankruptcy discharged in Dec 05. I have good job, cash for down payment, looking to trade or sale my 01 lincoln ls in excellent condition… 88,000 miles.. i want a 06 used 4 car sedan: good mpg, dark color, reliable, and stylish? what do you recommend? i would also like recommendations on finance companies with my credit score being 592. I have cash for down payment. i am in the position to buy a car cash money but i would like to finance and get my credit back to good standard. i’ve never been in a position of being turned down for credit or get high interest rate. What interest rate should i expect to get and what company is good for financing and have the blank check option. That would make it alot easier for me.

Interest Rate Higher with FHA Spot Approval?

high interest rate
HrtBroken asked:

I live in NY and I currently have an offer on a townhouse which needed an FHA spot approval (it is not currently approved). My lender is stating that I have been given an interest rate in the high 6′s because the condo wasn’t FHA approved and required an FHA spot approval. I don’t get it…if a spot approval was done why should that affect my interest rate?
